almost at a blink of closeness
i open a window; a window; and yet another window.
parellell almost. even absolutely amazing.
only because insanity smiles.
almost even laughs at me.
while i sleep.

  but yet i still dream.
why do i dream?
emptiness still fills me even when i sleep.
white clouds rain down
to open what?
a smile? a fear? a hope?
i gaze into the illusions of
a mental capacity.
and as i stare into nothing
the red drips of blood begin to fall.

  fall down my face.
as my eyes continue to fill with...
tears; many; many tears.
unforgiving; almost.
to an empty despair.
of a quiet silence gazing motionless.
across the skies.
and i beg; i beg; i beg you.
to open yet another line
that crosses into your heart.
of forgiveness for me.

Insanity, I think, laughs at us all, and it often feels as if we are just jesters to entertain it. And the reason for that insanity closes the work... nice.

Excellent piece. I've noticed a growth spurt in your pieces since you've come back, as though the time away has done wonders for your craft. Fantstic :) -Carl
