The accord of the rain
leaves me to subside my beliefs of no more serenity
The rain singing in my ears
feeling my skin shiver in the cold
tasting the bitter sweetness
rain being forever real
being of the past and future
tasting and feeling what so many morsels have before
My confidence in beauty
has yet to regain
as I sing softly to the beat of the dripping
as for my mortal eyes
were far too weak to behold dazzling beauty
Yet now I am resighned
to overcoming the beauty of the rain
the cold blistering rain
caresses my body
leaving moist amongst my lips
and down my cheeks
as my eyes begin to weep
loving the purity
and security
the accord of the rain.
