It’s getting harder to breathe
The pressure is building
I don’t know how much more
I can take from you

All this abuse
And its no use
Cause I know that no matter
What happens
In the end
Nothing will be right again

Another punch,
Another black eye
Just another mark to cover

I will fake a smile
So I can veil the hurt inside

Ill shed my tears at night
When I no your away from home

I will say to myself
Its just the alcohol
Nothing else

Once you are sober
You will say your sorry

I know you are sorry
And that is why I stay

I know if I run off
You will just find another
To harm,
To hit,
To abuse,
To use

And no body deserves this way of life
Not even me
But if I don’t stay
Another innocent might
Not see the day light
