Lovenight - (Inspired by: toy soldier)

The moon, you, and I
joy and love so intertwined
‘neath the ebon sky.

The fall -

Inner self did fly
On white adamantine wings
Then the sky let go.

Loneliness –

There's no sky at all
no earth at all - I wonder
why the snowflakes fall.

Uncovered -

Her many faces
Cast beneath a mask of pain
They serve her well.

NightSpeed –

The great bird of night
flying swiftly through the dark
slows not for morning.

SkyStream –

River of the sky
Splashed across the universe
Secrets linger there.

Dark Valentine -- For TaintedButterfly

This day of the heart,
To be dark and cold inside;
torment of the soul.

Another thought -

Dying in the dark
memories begin to fade
Except you, I feel…

The Lesson -

One full month alone
Learning to soar once again
Can you guide me home?
