...from the place i lay tonight, the
trickled starlight, dimly filtered through my
window blinds, gently falls across my only
picture of her.
       "thanks again, and pardon my tears," she whispers-
       "but the rose petals have wilted,
        and were strewn in the wind from my bedstand"
