last thursday, March something or other,
and the year's not important either-
at high noon, er, or were it two
o'clock in the a.m.?
time's not relevent in this situation,
the formula does not call for linear
accuracy-we musn't focus on the wrong
part of the story, instead, all of our
concentration must be focused solely
on the main points...the "big picture",
if you will.
oh, on the subject of pictures, my favorite
artist is Salvador Dali, noted 20th
century surrealist/abstractionist.
my favorite painting by him is a work
cryptically reminicant of Genesis,(the book,
not the band)in it's title and overall
depth of the painting-"Geopoliticus Child
Watching the Birth of The New Man", check it out
sometime...
DRAG! we seem to have strayed from the original
task at hand which, it just so happens, is
this incredible incident that i played a key
role in-this epic odyssey that i participated
in took place just last thursday, as of yet
i still do not recollect the exact time of
day that this momentus, and sentimentally
historic event occured.
now then, what part of the story did i leave
off on?? ah yes- thursday, i believe it was,
early morn, or, mayhap, closer to brunch.
speaking of brunch, i know this great little
ou-of-the-way bistro in Albany, with a fantastic
view of the Hudson, perhaps i will once again
visit the small cafeand try one of their fresh
blueberry scones and a cup of hot chai tea, mmm, mmm, mmm!
(note to self: put on some water for tea, and
find some blueberry muffins, it's almost time
for breakfast)
how time flies when recounting one's personal
adventures.
oh, oops...it seems that my original alacrity
for penning the afore mentioned adventure has
come up somewhat shy of expectation...oh well,
try me again next thursday, something always
happens on thursday.
