I suppose....
if i was to try and paint
a pretty picture of you and i
(with words darling, of course)
and how we met...i suppose i would compare it to this:
imagine
if you will
a crowded place
a quiet distracted man
a woman with an understated beauty
and a marvelous perfume
he sits at a table
lost in his own world
oblivious to the noise around him
she walks behind him
a little distracted herself
(life, you know...it will do that to us)
and suddenly he catches a hint of her perfume
his stomach knots
(the scent is sublime)
he lifts his head in a manner almost primal
and follows the scent
to her
she is now at a table of her own
the quiet man has not escaped her notice
and from across this crowded place
they lock eyes
and share a knowing smile
it's like thay know one another already
though they've never met before....

this, my darling
is how i would like to think
that in another world
another life
this is how i would paint a pretty picture
of you
and I

Refreshing fragrant lingers, to catch a sense of instincts. One lures out a passionate look across a patio or room.

Like I said before. I could feel the air stirring as you passed. Smell the perfume. Caught the light in your eyes, as they held me tight. Just gorgous. Just gorgous.

very well spun..a chance meeting, captured so eloquently and softly. i really liked the concept of destiny, and how sometimes people were "meant" to be. very well written.

i believe in the reality of this..... it so rarely ever happens ........it almost seems like something of a fantasy....but i think you touched on the perfection of the moment....don't forget we make our own realities;)

=) I enjoyed this. I love the idea of coincidental meetings and chance love. It's so much more beautiful and real.
