you lack my passion
compensating instead with a dark wit
rich and verbose
it lingers sometimes with a finish that i cant quite put my finger on
and oddly you have been paired
with me
mellow and sparkling
with a strange lingering heat
a spice that hides and then bites
sometimes
im glad we are so different
sometimes
i want something more like me
i get angry at the fact you dont need me
while i try so hard not to let you worm under my skin
plotting my petty revenges while i bite my nails
yes, it's true
i am nothing if not petulant at times
stormy even
while you breeze cooly through life unconcerned
no man is an island
except maybe you
sometimes
i envy your strength, your wall
sometimes
id rather feel everything with heat than be as frigid as you

loved the way you used wine terms for personality and the upfront tone and honesty... an easy feel and flow that had this rolling over my mental tastebuds... i remember someone like this too.... thanks for the reminder.. well done

The whole thing is an honest, selfless confession, but the lines between "i get angry at the fact" through too "yes it's true" were just so fantastically-adoringly honest that your spite became attractive...*Note* Dont let him see this side, If he is sadistic at all, he'll feed off it, really enjoyed.
