"words not spoken are often times merely expressions that cannot be told."

of all words known,
and of all poems i've wrote,
i cannot find the words,
to tell my feelings rightfully so.

to try and express,
the love i hold inside,
would simply degrade it,
so for now it hides.

such simple phrases,
could never explain,
in strong enough terms,
to be worth the say.

so many things,
i could easily say,
would not be bold enough,
for what i tend to convey.

though you yearn to hear,
and it aches to be said,
i cannot simply say,
I Love You instead.

***
the fact that it's not said means not that it
isnt felt. it simply means i've yet to coin
the words to tell you just so.

Agreed...and well said. I liked the approach and delivery of this poem. You speak truth and it reverberates in my mind
