"within the ashes of the funeral pyre, the fenix will arise once more."

so much time has passed,
i've been gone for so long.
i almost forgot the feeling,
of truely feeling at home.

i took a path,
i made a decision.
i left on my own,
and found the bitter end.

the winds of change,
have blown the sands of time,
they've changed the direction,
of these wings of mine.

so much sorrow
and so much pain,
so much i've felt,
since that day.

i left in guilt,
i ran in shame,
i hid from the crimes
i could never face.

i've hurt so many,
i had left so much,
i hang my head low,
i've had enough.

karma came,
and reality set in,
i could no long bare the truth,
about the person i had been.

here i am,
and here i'll stay,
back in my home town,
and accepting my fate.

can i fix the wrong,
or has it been to long?
are you still waiting for me,
or is all hope now gone?

here i am,
and here i wait.
i know it's been so long,
but i am here to fix all i've done.

***
for those i had left and for those i had hurt,
i am sorry and i am here. i am here to face all i had done.
forgiveness is not expected and forgetting is not an option.
but given the chance, i will do all i can to fix all i've done.
