here i sit,
and here i pray,
to a entity
in which i've
never believed,
i beg to you
on bended knee,
i ask of you,
please, help me.

the stars have never
seemed quite so dim,
my will has never
been so ready to give in,
the pain inside has never
been this strong.
i have never
felt so wrong,
or so far gone.

i've tried so hard,
i've given so much,
i've asked for so little,
i've never given up.
i've sacrificed it all,
i have nothing left.
nothing to call my own,
nothing to hold dear,
i'm left here, empty and alone.

here i sit,
and here i pray,
begging for just one good thing
to come my way.

Wow I know how this feel's and it just eat's you up reading these words expressed. So rightfully so. They way they just quivered off my tongue and stole my heart, letting me feel this again...
