If the statue is just a statue
Tell me why I see its tears fall.
Daily vandalized by all of you
And all the words you scrawl.

You think its evil in your mind
Its just hoping for peace at last.
Tormented, it can't seem to find
Silence among you who harass.

You may think those eyes hold harm
They're just pleading to be left alone
You finally see it cry, but don't be alarmed
See just because its a statue doesn't mean it's hearts made of stone.

Very nicely done... wouldn't it be cool to be able to scream so loudly that you could make statues bleed? That would rock.
