Darkened and mystified by the
Moon’s silver glitter, the aged boy
Crouched down on the damp
Asphalt of the abandoned school
Parking Lot to be with his grade school Sweetie,
And pulled out the splinter Romy had
Left behind. His eyes flickered with a fiery
Passion when he looked at her frail
Milky-white body. One memory in particular
Entered into their being, making them both laugh
As they reminisced in the moonlight of this
Sultry summer night. They remembered swinging
On the rusted chariots of the sky, jumping
To see how much farther one could jump
Than the other. But that was long ago, since
They had left that memory go when they
Graduated two years ago. He took her hand,
Squeezing her gently as she left him in spirit.
A single tear rolled down his plump cheek,
Leaving him with the memory of her.

unusual work...you lose brownie points for 'Sweetie'...ack...but the main balance and poise of the write, quite a little concep there, lofted well above the average, just a little less gritty for my tastes..give me something to bite!
