Death breathes upon the necks
of societies, embracing the souls
of today. The Lullaby
rings in our ears, enchanting us
with an obsidian voice, never ceasing
with graceful lines, floating and floating,
forever finding a new ear to haunt.
A fleshy ear yearns to hear
the lyrics of depression, minimizing
everything else from its reaches.
Dreamlike sequences accompanying this song
play over and over again, showing horrific
images of what Death could be.
