deal me cards of pleasureful lust
while I bat my eyes in sweet seduction
awaiting the return of a generous
hand, offering everything under
my conniving spell

I ask if you wish to stray away
from the comfort of your safe haven
and tread the paths of excitement
and adventure with a wild spirit
such as my confident self

you reply with an innocent nod
another confirmation of your
naivity, allowing my evil-
based mind to spin yours around
until you've lost sense of what you've lost...

...and oblivious to what I've gained...

your skin, it pales to a glowing white
speckled with trails of revolting confusion
which only makes me laugh harder
while I pull the strings of your sanity
out through the pores on your very face

this allows you to see your life
flash before you as I leave you
not for dead, but only vulnerable
enough for the keepers of our souls
to extract yours from your contradicting body

you see, I know much more than you think
I understand you. I understand all of
the harsh and bitter outbursts
when you are caught in a lie you alone
caused to explode into the open

I can sense when false explainations
are spun around the twisted truth
while you are trying to hold the
mask before their eyes, leaving time
for the escape of your true self

they may have fallen for your lies
and cover-ups used to hide those eyes
who've seen the horror numerous times
of those who did not deserve their demise
from a killer of hypocritical cries

I rest my foot upon your lips
stifling the stench of raunchy breath
as heartbeats teeter and one then skips
faster and faster they push you to death
as I reek my revenge upon my crushed heart's captor
