Insanity was the charge, but I was still at large

I swore it had been in love, but I was oh so wrong

What’s a kiss among lovers, a cold equally shared?

Food from your plate, knife to the chest?

Before that day, I knew every way, who I was, what I wanted, but something broke away

Too much has been lost, so shallow was the cost

Death for love lost, extracting every cost

They will keep me here, safer for all they fear

I got nothing but time, to spend inside my mind.
