As the first ray of light flew the first shadow grew
Upon those mountain peaks and beneath the old seed
Granted one chance to reach for the heavens
Delighted of heaven first to touch
And a voice far beneath heavens floor
A cast away with a crown of thorns
Pointing with marble eyes
Judging with a peaceful glance
of heavens delights no one can end their thirst
...and you belived you saw God
Smiling you down on the chair pointing the way
...and you belived you heard God
Gently asking to go away
A grey road holding burdened steps away
and the light casts a shadow far behind
Draging his tears far away
Burning his heart...cold from heavens delights
oh how I wanted to feel the warmth of heaven
