Watch the world fall apart,
Smile as the stars fall from the sky.
The end is always better than the start,
And so I bid this earth my final goodbye.
Blazing fires leave no trace of our existence on this land,
Followed by cataclysmic tidal waves to wipe the earth clean.
Earthquakes leave nothing to stand,
And roaring winds muffle the screams.
Our earth is left so desolate and bland,
It’s such a different picture than I’d dreamed. . .
Chains of purple lightning sweep across the sky so black,
My eyes get heavy and my vision blurs.
A bright flash strikes me, and I hear a gruesome crack,
I try yell in pain, but my mouth mutes my words.
Now lying on the molten ground, no pain is felt,
I watch a beautiful show of dazzling lights up so high.
Death draws his hand near, and takes back the cards he once dealt.
I close my eyes once and for all, and release my soul with one long relieving sigh
