Darkest night,
soon prevail.

Will we live?
Cast in ever changing spell?

Soon gone what never have had.
Soon taken what good was never bad.

Hated.
Loved.

Needed forever.
Lost eternal.

The night draws nearer,
Consuming all.

Path is clear,
But I fear the fall.

i loved the ending...the tapered form made it easy to read and the message crept up my spine and took one hell of a bite out of me at the end...nice.
