They don't like these zen poems
near as much
as the ones
about sex or drinking.

I get lots of kudos for those,
but these here
where open hearts and mist
is about all that happens
just don't seem
to get people's attention.

I should try a car chase
through fields of pompous grass
under the silver dharma moon

It'd never end.
