Take me someplace where the stars shine;
Where the tears of their silent solitude would caress my name...
Where the weary eye of a fragile god

No longer rapes the day;-

Someplace like yesterday where my symphony played in reverse,
A mere scattering upon clouds, so naive,
Would hold tremulous light upon my path
As I walk it in pieces...

Hold me between the heart and the moon -
Ponderous lovestroke calamity;

Under leaves bristled with the slightest touch
Of nothing but the delicate breath of the breeze;
Somewhere I could hide my insecurities amongst
Bonedust.

I'm tired and lonesome as a forgotten Autumn.
Let these whispers rustle my bones
So I could make love to the night.

Just take me somewhere the blood is clear as snow;
My hands are washed clean of my shortcomings.
Someplace to strip me of my defenses...

A beautiful rapture.

An elegant release.

It doesn't matter, anymore, where this masque is left to rot.

Just...

Just take me

Take me

Away...
