I would break forth in unrequited song
For a moment a'neath the words of your verse;
To walk among sweet rhapsody flowers and mercury stars-
Lay 'midst the twilight melancholy melodies
And practice a soft-light-suicide for
Nothing but a martyred word.
To have the cool sacrifice of your tongue
Slake my throat in red sparrows;
Be absolved of my years amongst the bitter kiss
of your tears; the reprimand of seasons
That swirl in Autumnal autographs through your eyes.
Through sugar-sweet sorrow,
And breathtaking euthanasia of
This twisted beating heart,
I am yours;
and even
death
can't
touch me
now.

'To have the cool sacrifice of your tongue slake my throat in red sparrows' -sublime. A fantastically, taut and well exercised write. Some serious poetics -love the language here. two thumbs up.

Gorgeous. I am in rapture with your words. This is ever-engaging with such a lulling quality. I could fall asleep in the womb of your evocative tongue.
