Within my dreams
Certain realities are vividly real.
Subconscious visions distort how I feel.
My awakening soberly means
Truthfully away from my layers peel.

Honest, brutally clear facts cloud my heart,
For at one single era gone by,
Never, you promised, could we ever part.
You, now, must explain reasons why
Alone within chambered secrets I lie.

For did you not fall to the floor to pray?
Our bodies, shackled as one,
Never naked of the other, allowed to lay.
For eternity was your vow,
Forever, love was present to stay.

I swallowed your naughty untruths whole.
Pretenses that say my life is fine
Step on my heels, reminding of these lies.
Our bondage together I will not again try.
A rotten taste of shame within you
I hope for,until you wither and die.
