Today I watched a man
Lost and stag'ring drunk...with
Scabrous lids which sang
A song of distant sleep
Stumbling like a leaf
Caught twixt great waring winds
Sodden stains upon his vest
Which fell from drooping lips

I watched this foolish man
Rebuke god's dynasty
to all which passed his presence
To anyone who'd hear
Addle and befuddled
He never learned to fly
With broken wings illed - trepid
he stumbled cross mine path

Today I watched a creature
Of god...rebuke his name
Collapsing fore me quickly
He reached to brush mine boot
With liquor reeking foetid
He Hissed from chapping lips
"How could god allow this!
I cannot quench mine thirst!"
