A silent night befell the loom which sneered from neath the clouds
Within the midst of all I sank in hushes
Until I caught a face (inducing blushes)
when sight craved touch upon her skin so luscious
But solemn thoughts reduced my urge to claim that treasure - precious

Choked my erring tongue didst lump when try'ng to say hello
(and so) I drank from her across the room
Drunk I stumbled sipping from her swoon
Her velvet skin shined piquant - as the moon
A'last she left and drunk I stood craving sight again and soon

Until the silent night grew pale I tossed beneath my sheets
Dreaming didst she touch me with her lips
Drowning me within an ardent kiss
Drifting 'mong the surface of her hips
Entranced by honeyed scents deep in elysium didst I slip

Then every night until again we met she touched my sleep
Slipping thro the breeze - beneath my sheets
Playfully kissing my legs with feet
Filling barren nostrils with such sweet
Scents of honeyed roses singing to me thro' the deep

That second world is ours the world of dreams
Where beggars walk the gold-paved roads as kings

In waking hours sitting still I thought about her face
The face which crossed my mind one thousand times
Until again she bathed me with her eyes
Which seemed to cut beneath my ill-disguise
I shook her hand such passion spat athwart my fogging mind

Until the night she held me as a child holds her toy
And supple palms carresed me so infused
Fragrant honey gripped my heed and soothed
Within her grips I smiled so amused
To know beside me lay my gentle succubus my muse

"Entranced by honeyed scents deep in elysium didst I slip" Beautifully poetic, splendid rhyme structure...love the archaic, dark romantic dance; the eldritch seduction as drowned 'within an ardent kiss' Well done.

Awesome structure!! (two exclamation points from me and i'm usually such a minimalist with 'em). This piece reminds me of Dani Filth's lyrics; I can hear wild blastbeat and majesty behind this. Rich, divine and decadent.
