When shadows, cumulous, parade upon the eager sky
To boast of nature's sodden treasury
While breathing deep I often drink the saturated breeze
Enthralled in all its solvent majesty
Until the shadows grow so fat from sipping ocean winds,
Soused with the lamenting of sun's tears,
They spit, in growing fervor, 'pon the brittle, arid lands
Dripping with a strength; primeval - fierce
When shallow bogs, uneven ground, absorb the gift, awash
Collecting all its treasure in thier veins
I stare to see a cracked reflection which portrays me best
A lion, crippled with its crooked mane
This once Impressive king of verse to the uncanny eye
Now stares to see the ripples of his soul
Which crash against the bound'ries of his self-restricted poise
Swarming in unrest beyond control
Yet every time I smile in the midst - epiphonies
To gaze upon the steeped , deluging lands
I know that Many other beasts alike stand, staring deep
Into those idol lakes which do command
To zeus I must give thanks and hope he heeds my willful yelps
For when its dry I scream, alone and sectioned
But when the Clouds bespeak I feel a'kin with other beasts
Whom stare confronted with his broke reflection
