Child, shrivelled shell with vain contempt for other rats
Which swarm, abreast, upon the same dark mold
Yet even while your maw is writhing with its common bile
On thrones of self-dishonesty you scold
While gazing back to think where I once saw a piquant star
Now stares the frenzied grimace of a RAT!
Irks the vacant pit which once beheld scraps of a heart
That furtive cave on which you coldly spat

Eyes which once emblazened Innocense and distant dreams
Now snicker from your skull, two rotten pits
Bright teeth which once bespoke of beauty now remain sharp fangs
Lined with manhood's trust along its slits
Breath of honeyed wines that once entranced my lonely scent
Now stain my nostrils bitter with its musk
I fear for any soul vexed with the teasing of your hair
Or any fool which feeds to you his trust
