Yesterday I looked to see horizons crumbling down
And tumbling with them didst I see my dreams
Thro' the riven skyline didst I swim
Breathing, tasting, drinking from within

And in that brittle sea of thoughts it struck
Like lightning on a dying hummock's jade
That poisen flew athwart those rusting dreams
And moved me twards those most distasteful things

And swimming by its side it drank from me
As dry hair from my head drank from the sea
Still it took me years to finally see
those poisened broken dreams were killing me

I tried with graceful fervor to appaul
This, most-displeasing, uninvited guest
But as I flailed my arms its teeth sank deeper
Quieting that beat within my chest

Until magestic hands unearthed my body
And raised me far above that twisted sea
Into a world beyond my own conception
of what a mortal's life could truly be

Today I looked to see horizons shining
And dewdrops gently kissing listless leafs
Amid the scent of heavens didst I swim
Breathing tasting drinking from within

A finite grain of sand, I have become
Though others think me special and unique
Admittance to my normal imperfections
Allows me, from the sea of life, to drink
