thoughts fill my head
swirling and churning within me
from a thousand lifetimes ....already dead

the lives of centuries past posessing my soul
clinging to my every breath, they won't let me go

a tear falls from my eye
for every love...that has died

of
hearts that have never healed
and
wounds...that ache to be sealed

.
.
.

they reach thru space and time
and the pain that fills their hearts
...somehow...
bleeds thru mine

.
.
.

thoughts born of angst
drip crimson from my tongue

words spilling onto pages
painfully wrung
that, ...in the end
are more like bandage than paper

.

.

it is my curse
that I write their tragedies
thru poetic verse
and
that this is the pain you will see
and where it comes from

when you look into the depths of me

why has no one commented on this? It's AMAZING. I fell through your words like the loves of the past fell through you. You tinged the sadness of rememberances across my eyelids, and made everything beautifully cracked with long-ago shed tears. ~*Beth*~
