Our final destination is determined by the love
or lack thereof~invested

years past are recalled and seen
days, moments missed and time we've wasted

suddenly ...
the dying know what living means

when Guardian Angels fly home, one by one
life's last words whisper into the human ear
destiny will call when all is said and done
at volumes only death can hear

mournful cries echo thru the night
from the graves of ancient souls

warnings...
to us from the darkest corners of the light
into the depths of earth awaits a 6 foot hole

this be YOUR warning ...not to wait until it is too late
to love, be loyal and to live right
be good to one another, woman and man

for,

it's into Heaven's Eternal Light

or

to the Fires of Hell

be Damned

Wow... for me, your poetry is like a perfect day: few and far between, but I love each one when it happens. And afterwards I wait patiently for the next.

the rhyme scheme in this made your message shout out even more loudly than it already was. Definately caught my attention... ~*Beth*~
