I'm staring again
Good thing I still have my friend
Sometimes I see what happened then
But I'll again see nothing in the end

I'm thinking of the sea
A place I'd love to be
Again I have the dreams
While wake me up in my screams

I want to see the world again
The way it was before
I think about it now and then

It takes my breath ev'ry time
You see the pieces in the rhyme
But you don't know why

I want back the years I never knew
The years back when I was new
Because of this
My loss of bliss
I keep things rarely kept
While on and on I often slept
Never dreaming, never seeing
The world around me when I started being
