This isn’t hell that I’ve created
But this life has left me jaded
And I love you
More than anyone ever knew

There’re worlds between us but my love for you will never die
This world around me without you makes me wanna cry
But thankfully I have you in my life
And thankfully, I’ll never again need a knife

The more I look around
The more I think of you
I remember without sound
But no one sounds like you

There’re worlds between us but my love for you can never lie
If I didn’t have you, I’d surely wanna die
But thankfully, you’re still in my life
And thankfully, I don’t think about the knife

They say the pen is mightier than the sword
But ever since the world began mankind has always warred
If they only felt the love in this world that you bring
They might stop all the fighting and just start to sing

There’re worlds between us but we’ve fine’ly found a way
To have peace in this world, no matter to what god we pray
If only we had found this love before
So many brothers and sisters wouldn’t be lost in war

I preach an odd way of peace, but understandable if anyone would listen
Some others preach racism and make this a dirty world that could glisten
If only they could see what they have done
The pain they’ve brought could be healed as one

There’re worlds between us but we’ve finally looked past race
And seen that this world is nice without the devil’s face
If only we had noticed pains like this
Before we preached what we did our children could live in bliss

The love that you earn is the love that burns
Inside your heart black or white this everyone learns
Doesn’t anyone notice that the world needs love and peace
So that for humanity all of this insanity was almost outta reach?

There’re worlds between us but we’ve fine’ly noticed this
That the world wouldn’t be so cold and we might have more bliss
If we’d only stop hating, stop warring, and start lovin’
This world wouldn’t be a hellish inferno, just an oven
