There's another ghost in the machine
It just keeps staring back at me
I see the way it glows with metalic sheen
I just want to get away from everything I know will kill me

There's another ghost in the machine
It just keeps creepin back to me
This one looks so real
So close to love that I can't feel

There are ghosts upstairs
I hear the sounds
Things go round
But nothin's there

Just another ghost in the machine
Spinning round and round
Never making any sound
There's no metalic sheen

I saw a ghost just today
Wanted to talk to it
It just said to go away
I used to know this one a bit
Concrete eyes
Would disguise
The fears and sorrows
Hidden in the last tomorrows
Eyes were like the sky
Skin just like the angry clouds
The voice used to be a lullabye
Now all I hear is my screaming out loud

Just another ghost in the machine
Metalic eyes with a guilty sheen
Wish that someplace would come through
But there's nothin left for me to do

Why do they haunt me
Ghosts in my machine
Wish I could escape the memory
But the ghosts are locked in my machine

Buried things I shouldn't know
Take away the afterglow
If you see them there around me
Will you guide me back to the city
I'd love to go
To that place that i call home
