i'm always running
from the pain i left behind
people gunning
down brothers in my mind

gunshots go off
i hear a few screams
the lights go off
and it runs into my dreams

i'm always running

i see a blade
reflect in the night
the pain it made
in the middle of a fight

i'm always running
