ashes falling slowly like snowflakes
onto the soft yet dirt engrained couch
everything is eerily still
as wet spots slowly form and

as do shoulders and fists
soft petals fall as stems stir in their glass
dogs tails stop wagging
and a silent whining is to be heard
with a final slam
a sob
and a clear wind breeze
the room is empty once again
no life inside it
