Leave me a light that I can use to find my way home
I swear that I'll come back for you
Please don't weep so hard for I'll be there soon
Have I ever broken a promise that I made to you?

The light that you gave me is starting to run out
I swear that I'll come back
Slowly it dims as you forget me and what I meant to you
But I'll keep walking until I find you again

Desolation has reached it's peak as I realize that I'm lost
Stumbling around in the dark as I trip and fall
Bitterly I cry and ask " what did you call me for?"
You're safe and happy but I am nothing but a lost soul now

I swear.....
