Release these bloodshot eyes
We fall asleep tonight
Left to wonder why
This worlds full of lies

Continueing the path of the broken
Ignore those who have ever spoken
(those dreadful words,
We continue on our journey
Naive? Well i can agree)
Forever broken words, of love
(seeing our truth above
your smiles a lie)

Chorus:
Sincere promises i see all lies
To many movments at the corner of my eyes
Kick the dirt upon my grave as you ask why
Who was this guy? Why did he die?
No one cares so i just say
Engrave 'here lies a man full of pain'

I fall into a deep sleep
I feel the parasites feeding on me
(my flesh and bone decay,
Just another small price i must pay)
They all say, this is where he lays
a man with no future, no escape

[chorus]

I just say
Engrave, 'here lies a man full of pain,
no where to hide, or to escape'
Cross it out and steal my stone
All i want is to be left,
(alone)

(Regrets, Goodbyes,
Fake lullabyes
Broken lies
Throw me away. bury me alive)

Bad place to be...written in such a way, would go good with music. I'm tired of wondering at lies...but not ready to jump in the hole yet. The inscription on headstone harsh enough, but adding stealing it after desecration...nice touch.
