you stumble in a drunken rage
you swing at anything that moves
you yell and scream at me
as you pin me to the wall
the smell of liquor burns my nose
i push you back
as you stumble
i try to leave you drag me back
you wont let go
i start to yell
i start to shake
you lose your grip
i slip away
you grab my shirt
it starts to tear
we fall back on the floor
i kick you away
i run down the stairs and out the door
knowing you wont follow
i sit behind the shed
and wash away the blood
ill wear long sleeves to cover the bruises
i stay till you pass out
i get up and go get ready
for another round tommorow night
for what else can i do?
theres nowere left to go
