The Secret

I have a secret,
One I've kept for some time.
Too worried about the outcome,
Worried about what you will say.
Will you say anything,
Or will you pretend you never knew?
Would you string me along just because you knew you could?
Would you reject me?
Would you be happy...confused?
WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
If I knew the answer maybe my secret wouldn't have to be a
secret anymore.
But your reaction is unknown,
So this little secret is mine,
Only mine.
But maybe in time it can be ours.
