For days now I've been confused,
Confused of my lack of feeling,
This seemingly senseless abuse,
My mind is now working quickly, revealing.
A thought sparking idea, spawning words,
Unveiling the truth behind these revelations,
The reason, after losses and grievances emerged,
Why now the missing integers let me solve you, equation.
A prediction, sentenced to me by myself,
Even in the face of happiness I knew it was true,
However, in the face of happiness it stayed shelved,
No regrets, but was this last chunk of time by me, slew?
Perception was temporarily muffled by this fling,
I truly enjoyed it, but it was like a one-way road strip,
A friend she is, but now, of love for her I don't sing,
I tried and I tried, but I, from the tight rope, slipped.
Then my guardian Faerie saved me, like before, and like again,
She was the net in the canyon, when the rope had no end,
It had no other side that I seek, to know the feeling of no pain,
She beat her wings with ferocity, and ended my downward fall, trend.
Now I'm on this road, bricked yellow, toward paradise,
No more side roads will I follow, when the obvious path is now crystal clear,
A good feeling, lingering happiness, overwhelms me due to these words, concise,
The purpose will never be foolish, and I'll be happy til' my ending, of years.
