I will confess
My heart still stops when you walk by.
When I catch your scent I want to cry
-please come back to me
I will confess
I should’ve never lied
Would you have spared me the pain
I couldn’t sleep by myself
Do you blame me? For blocking you from truly understanding, who and what a mess I was?
I will confess
I wasn’t over him
I love him
Yet I love you…
I will confess
I don’t think I can live without you
You’re my waking thought,
After a night full of dreams with you
Don’t you understand? Things can’t be the same. Don’t you see the tears after you touch me. The despair when you talk to me.
I will confess,
The alcohol takes the memories away,
Even if just for a night.
I can believe that he is you.
And this heart beating with mine is yours.
