Being smart has bad consequences
You overlook many of the simpler things in life
Overanalyzing much of what’s said to you
You try to flatter someone with beautiful words,
And she slaps you in the face, because she didn’t understand
The other meaning(s) of the words
You look at this world with your mind, eyes, and body
Seeing just how fucked up it is
You try to live like the older days,
Trying to mix the past and present
But, you get insulted by her
When she turns you down after giving her “Sweetest Day” gifts
Why must this world be so cruel, from your friends, to everyone
Who hates you for your intellect?
This world isn’t fit to harbor the intelligent,
They’re desired in some places,
But not in most others.
Not understanding the world,
The one that curses you very name,
The one that despises your ideas,
Only because they don’t understand.
I wanted to be with a girl,
But, she denied me because I was too smart for her
She wouldn’t enjoy my company,
My analyses of everything,
Trying to help others,
At the expense of myself,
Turning to no one to help me,
Just like a friend.
I have no place in this world,
I’m a true undesirable.
Not wanted, loved, or desired by anyone,
Only because my genetics are favored for a higher intelligence.
So, I’ll tell the world to just fuck off when they want my help
Because rejection to favoritism isn’t the way to gain someone’s trust,
If they’re only to be rejected and left for dead once they’ve given their assistance.

I liked this, although i see it from the point of view that the "intelligent person" alienates himself and prefers seclusion... my views anyway...
