I kiss you
Promises
Poor communication
How did you know
Promises were only
Slightly better
Than lies?
Is that why
You wouldn't listen
Or is it the way
My lips kissing
My promises
Are always lies?

slightly better than lies eh?this is so short but it speaks volumes. The last four lines are like a puzzle..i play them over in my head and it just hurts. Its there in the truth yet it is so far away from being solved.this is written very well.

I agree with both ErrOr and Condemable Passions....you have taken a message normally stated in no less than twenty lines (at the very LEAST) and said it in no more than fifteen. Wonderful job. *Evangel*
