We agreed to leave it out
I felt protected
I carried my heart in my pocket
Where not even you could pick it
But you did
I let you have it
You gave me yours
And now
Now I realize that I gave you nothing
I have been taking trips on you
Nothing more, nothing less
And my heart, my heart is still safe in my pocket
Safe where no one can pick it not even you
