all these quiet listenings and understandings
wrapped in the pretense of
devilmay.care.fulness,
when i could reach
my hand into you
and pull out any one
of your
ghosts.

my s{k}in knows you
beneath this;
for i’ve felt, groped all over
blindly, on knees
and hands, trying
to find some small uncontrollable
emotional morsel
on which to feed you.. .. .

you feel like
someone trying
not to feel.. . .

...like trying to plug a square peg into a round hole that doesn't exist... I really like this write, and the self-questioning it spurred in me. Perhaps that wasn't your intent for the reader, but thanks to you just the same.

for me this holds a conudrum; a kind of loss of faith or a submissive emptiness of a relationship, with religious allusions - on knees ...praying? Bleak and stark as it is, it reclaims beauty within...a hauntingly brilliant piece

This is great, its obscure and unique, yet at the same time, it plainly points its finger. Freat script sir. [D&A]

Excellently observed; I especially like the conclusion. I second Solace's comment - fine write indeed.

whoa this caught me offguard...rather chilling....intricately penned to the last stop...like the limbs of a 'thinman' quite lithe...in style, description and thought...~m~
