An old friend

(Term used so loosely, I had
to scoop it up off the ground)

I told you,

You can't trust someone, who won't trust anyone.

You should have listened.

Same age, same story, same situation.

We should have a lot in common.

But, while I was living life, you were avoiding it.

(One of those "some things" that never changes)

So we meet again, and I try again, And again, you disappoint.

We are alike, in so many ways,
yet you are miles behind.
