Distructive Dispair

To see her eyes fill with tears,

was like watching my most cherished

of possessions,

sinking into the swell of a flood.

So tragic, so terribly,

beautiful.

Here tears were like,

falling, crystalline, razors.

I couldn't catch them all.

They tore me apart.
