I know that guy.

You know the one.
Everybody knows that guy.

Standing at the wall.
Shamefully close to the exit.

Pretending to be waiting for someone.

Watching everyone.

Speaking to no one.

A quick nod if you meet his eyes.
Then he turns away as if something more
important occurred to him.

He's the one nobody notices, until he's gone.

What did he say his name was?

I know that guy.

The one in the mirror.

I never liked him.

its funny that most of the time what we see in the mirror isnt how others see us...self-loathing is usually our biggest flaw...this kinda made me sad, perhaps because i saw myself in this..great write none the less ~kristy

Oh my god...mirrors are evil things set upon this earth to make every damn person feel self-conscious each time they look into one. This is a beautiful piece. I know the feeling all too well. *Evangel*
