You weren't there when I threw
The diamond ring against the wall
The letter he'd wrote for me
I never felt so small
I took my chances
And let him go
Why does it feel so wrong
When I know I have to grow
You see, he was the only one
One guy in my life
He's asking me to be
His darling wife
I'm too young
That he doesn't understand
I have life ahead of me
That are already planned
He's about the same
Age as me
But he grew up so quickly
Way before I could see
So where were you lord?
You weren't there when I needed you
I'm too young and lost
I don't know what to do
I had my wings
But I'm falling
So help me god
What is my calling?
*its an old poem, very simple so yea hope yall like it =)*
