Dead

But still I breathe

Locked away in some dreary hole
only able to see the blinding white light
when someone opens it to throw me down some

molded scraps of bread
and toss me down a plastic jug
of filthy Toilet water.

Yes

I am dead

I am only here
to suffer for you and your words

to be your whipping post,

I have no feelings
I sold them on ebay
to make your life happy.

Dead

I am dead inside
but my eyes still see
and I still think.

Dead,

I have been dead a long time
sitting
turning to dust

decaying

whatever brain cells
I have left

waiting

ever waiting...

Dead,
I am dead.

Haven't I been patient enough??

Dead,
I'll look up staring, hating
the little rays of light
that no matter how hard I try to reach
I am never tall enough,

waiting.....

waiting for something that will never come...

You just broke my heart and stole the pieces away in a box above your bed. This was such an emotional distressed write that I feel hollowed and used without them. Lovely.
